Throughout their 12-year-long union and two-year marriage, Pitt and Jolie together parented their six children: Maddox, 18, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Since their split, Pitt sees his younger children every few days. He currently isn't in contact with his oldest sons, Maddox and Pax.

A second source added that Jolie is reportedly "impressed with Brad's continued sobriety," as the two continue to navigate their platonic relationship post-divorce.

Pitt has been open regarding his struggles with alcoholism in recent years and once referred to his vice as a way to "escape." The Oscar-winning actor spent a year and a half in Alcoholics Anonymous after splitting from his then-wife and has remained sober ever since.
